Super tasty! Warm and fresh borekas pastry. With spicy sauce, boiled egg, and pickles. It's soooo good. The cheese and the spinach was delicious. Come before 2 pm.

The Borekas are outrageously tasty, pickles are delicious… honestly the perfect breakfast, I could happily eat here every day.

Wow! This is a must try! They have 4 different kinds of borekas- these are Turkish style not straight Israeli so a bit different than what some might be expecting but flaky and delicious none the less!
My favorite is the cheese & zatar, dipped in the tomatoe purée and slathered in the delicious (and perfectly spicy) schug.

I’ve been here twice this week and 3x in total!

I am always amazed by the different types of food I find in Los Angeles. I have never had borekas before, and I read in Eater LA about this new window. It is in Sherman Oaks in a strip shopping center very close to the 405.

My wife and I arrived before they opened at 9:00 A.M., and there was already a line there. Each borekas is individual size, but it packs a lot of flavor. We purchased two: the potato and brown butter and the spinach and cheese. I preferred the spinach and cheese because it reminded me of spanakopita. It is less filo dough and more likes a puffed pastry or croissant consistency.

I would highly recommend getting there early because they only stay open until they sellout. They accept cash and credit cards. As one woman in back of me in line said, why should I make it myself when it is so good from here?

Try it and judge for yourself.
