Busy Bee has a great selection of delicious sandwiches, etc. We enjoy going there as it is a special treat. They are friendly, efficient and professional. You can select from hot and cold sandwiches. They also offer chips, soda water, etc. Be sure to bring cash, as they do t take ATM cards, credit cards or checks. It is well worth the money to enjoy Busy Bee and their scrumptious sandwiches. I go when zi get a chance.
Gets rave reviews, but had nothing special quality meats etc. Didn't try their sauces.
Huge well made sandwiches, look tasty.
But I bought samples of just the hot meats and a Salami end to try. I'll taste them again, but I was extremely disappointed a day ago. Almost threw everything away. Not bad stuff, wholesome foodstuffs, just not exceptional.
Borderline even for good description.
SAD ! Bread looked good, but didn't see where they could bake it, so maybe it is purchased?
I'll have to go back. 40 years of obviously loyal happy customers... A dozen or more quickly through the counter service in the brief time I was there. Passionate regulars!
My cousin took me there and it was great!! There was a small like when I walked in until the time I left. Meaning a lot of happy people.
Great Customer service from the person who made my sandwich, to the cashier.
The sandwich was amazing and the quality of the meat do die for, plus the bread was so fresh!
I will forever be coming to Buzy-Bee.
Highly recommended....you won’t regret it.
Sandwiches are huge and tasty enough. I have had better tasting sandwiches but not at this size and price, which is why I am a bit torn between a 4 and 5 star review. One sandwich is just too much for a single person, especially if you want a side. Pair up with someone who wants the same sandwich or split a belly buster with someone and this may be the perfect spot for you. Service is fast and friendly, but is hit and miss with the lines. I was there around 1pm on a Monday and line was short when I got there, but was out the door as I left. I guess I was lucky. Parking is the same. I was able to park close by on the street, but wasn’t a spot near by when I left. I think the combination of bread and meat is the key here. The bread is very soft and soaks up the meat juices, so it goes well with beef sandwiches with au jus and the meatball was pretty good as well. I didn’t enjoy the corned beef side as much nor do I think I would have liked the torpedo, since I prefer rye bread with my corned beef and chewy Italian bread for my submarine/torpedo sandwiches.
Definitely someplace I would go back when in the area, but only if I’m very hungry or have a friend that can agree to the same sandwich to split. Time it right so you don’t wait too long and it could be a five star experience.
I came in on a Saturday afternoon and boy was this place busy. I ended up phoning the order in while we were in line, but it wasn't any faster than waiting in line to be honest. There was also a line to pay, however, the line was pretty quick too. The worst part about it was the parking. We had to go around the block to find something. I had the cold Belly Buster with capicola and pastrami. It had a ton of meat. The only thing I wish it had was some onions and tomatoes. It was my first time at Busy Bee and not sure if you can make changes to the sandwiches. My wife got the meatball and cheese. I had a bite and it was really good. Maybe the next time I'll try a hot sub instead.
