Charlie's Deli Venice Beach

Love these sandwiches! The original Italian my favorite. Worth the price, I recommend. Unless your getting a hotdog all the food is expensive on the beach.

Try this place out if you’re looking for a delicious, quick, yet gourmet sandwich while on the boardwalk or going to the beach! I’ve only had the turkey and the turkey + pastrami but I keep coming back bringing others. The owners are totally chill, the portions are large, and it’s just a tasty sandwich! They also have vegan cheese, and you’ll leave without spending a ton. It’s on a great block too. Nom away your hangry! Totally recommend.

My friends and I had just driven 16 hours to Venice Beach and had to wait a couple hours to check into our hotel. As we were walking down the beach the owner of the store called us over and convinced us to have his sandwiches (although we were starving so it probably wasn’t very hard lol). My boyfriend got the Italian and loved it while I got the bacon brisket sandwich. Both are great. Our buddy also got the breakfast sandwich which he really enjoyed. When I come back to Venice I’m definitely coming back here. The store front was also cute and clean. Service was awesome. Thanks Charlie’s deli for a great meal!

I’ve had two sandwiches there so far and both were phenomenal. Ally is also very friendly and great to chat to. Highly recommended. So great to have a good deli on the boardwalk again!
