Cinemark Baldwin Hills

To me, this place is the best ever! This cinema house is always on top when it comes to providing a great movie experience for us moviegoers. They also have the best snacks available, especially popcorns, and sodas to complete the movie experience. A truly wonderful place to relax and enjoy a movie together with your friends! Strongly recommended!

Clean and affordable. I go during matinees to save money and avoid the young riffraff. I like that this location offers a refill bucket for popcorn that is good for entire year. Also the staff is friendly and helpful.

I'll tell ya what this place has it all! It's got movies, and popcorn, and restrooms! Holy cow I mean come on this has just gotta be the most fun I've had in a long time. Hope y'all find this post helpful. I'm sure I would've thought I hadn't wasted my time reading this. Truly, from the heart.

What an amazing experience it was to be at this theater again. The last time I was there was for Black Panther. I was there again tonight for Just Mercy, and the energy was palpable. An incredibly powerful movie. Michael B. Jordan showed his acting chops in this one! The theater was intimate, the seats were comfortable. Although, as someone who gets a bit agitated in confined spaces, I must admit that having no exit access to my right was a bit unsettling. The audio and visual qualities were great. The free soda and popcorn were a welcomed surprise for this hungry movie-goer. You do a fantastic job hosting historical movie events, Cinemark Baldwin Hills. Bravo!

This theater has changed brands at least 4 times in the last 15 years, and each change has brought some improvements. Patrons can now reserve seats in the theater, which is great. I noticed several new food kiosks/machines, with self serve items like popcorn, drinks, candy and I may have seen pizza. This is good to avoid standing in a long line at the concession stand, but it's also a job killer. The seats also seemed larger and much more comfortable. Don't frustrate yourself looking for parking in the lot in front of the theater. Just go up to the upper level where there's always parking. The absolute best thing about this theater is that it is the host site of the Pan African Film Festival each year. Hands down, the best film festival on the west coast, not to be missed by film enthusiasts. Great opportunity for the community to experience the best films and filmmakers from across the African diaspora.
