Very good experience here. I would definitely recommend the Mels Original Burrito, great flavors. Can't go wrong with the chicken and waffle either, have it with their strawberry butter! Friendly staff too

Atmosphere was great. Food was cool but the bell peppers and onion in the eggs could have been sauteed a little more before cooking them with the eggs. Lobster tail should've been a little crisper so the batter would have stuck.

Potentially great, with delicious fried chicken and a solid staff... But the waffle, as tasty as it was, came out cold.

For a signature dish that was a surprising and most disappointing error in execution.

The service was really good and I loved the music that was playing. It created a really great environment. But the food... AMAZING! I only got to try 2 things but both were outstanding. The grits were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The shrimp were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. And despite the average look of the waffle, it was also spectacular. Great texture and flavor. Definitely going back as soon as possible

This is my new fav breakfast spot! My favs are the Taco Omelette and Shrimp and Waffles. Everything is under $25 but they serve hefty portions. I also love the people who work there. Great hospitality.
