Daves Hot Chicken

I almost moved companies and got a job 3 minutes away (partially) because of this place. I make my boyfriend go here with me even when he doesn’t want to. It’s a little bit expensive for chicken but hey, it’s a quality meal and I wish there was one closer to where I live. Oh, also it’s stylish.

I love the mild flavor of Dave’s chicken. Absolutely delicious! Great service provided today by SiSi. She was informative, great multitasking, and quick service. Keep up the great service at #1020 Ladera location.

Pretty cool place that was recommended to me. Simple straightforward menu and you choose how spicy you want your food to be. The Reaper option requires you sign a waiver! Medium is your best bet if you like spicy food rather than love it. It's got just the right kick.

Very clean restaurant, friendly staff. It does get busy around lunchtime (makes sense) so expect a bit of a wait. I waited 15min for my food which is still quick.

The spice levels are accurate, but their chicken is SALTY! How is the chicken more salty than the fries? Definitely had me clutching my water bottle. Maybe tone down on the salt? Not much fries came with the order.

Dave's is a good hot chicken place on the Westside. I only wish the had chicken wings or other pieces of chicken instead of only tenders. And if your like me the hot is not that hot I recommend the extra hot. Other than that it gets pretty crowded, but the food comes up pretty quick. All in all it's worth a trip
