Sexy hipster environment. Ride your motorcycle or even your scooter. The coffee is okay. But the vibe is it.
Deus has been on my bucket list for a while. I loved the whole vibe. Coffee was good, staff super attentive. I didn’t grab my filter straight away so the barista offered to remake it if it wasn’t quite hot enough. Wandering around the tragical side the team were amazing. You can kill a few hours here if you really love bikes.
Saturday by 10pm, all tables are taken.
Parking is free but it's a small lot with a one way path. I recommend street parking, which is free and abundant.
Employees seem nice and will generally greet you.
Display motorcycles are cool but you cannot touch.
They sell fashion accessories and apparel.
For cafe, I recommend the cold brew. It has a chocolate note and is not bitter. It tastes distinct enough that puts other $4 cold brew to shame.
Cafe and shop is in same building
I had driven by this place a million times and always wondered what it was. There was clothing in the window, but also sold coffee? Turns out this shop actually belongs to an international brand. This location sells their clothing, and has great coffee. Plus, there's an outdoor section that's super cute. We had iced matcha green tea lattes that were delicious, and sat inside at one of their worktables with our laptops. We'll definitely go again!
This is on my top 5 favourite places to go to in Los Angeles. Not only they serve amazing coffee and food, but also the place is super welcoming to bring a book and read, do some work or just relax. Perfect for people that need to get work done and need to concentrate. I've stayed at this place for hours with my laptop and it helps me concentrate more than at home. If you are on a coffee tour through LA this place should definitely be on your list.
