Don Pollon BBQ rib and chicken taco truck

Tacos were dealious and ribs were favorable and smokey had me cleaning my hands and face with wipes lol will definitely be coming back .

First time here and we will be back. I had the huarache con pollo. The chicken was really good, Super tasty. My feedback on this is that the onion is chopped in BIG pieces so it’s not a subtle onion flavor. I would order without onions next time. Salsas are green or red and the flavors were good. My husband had a taco “Campechana” which we learned is a combination of meats. He said it was good.
The horchata has mediocre so we wouldn’t be ordering that in the future. That was the only agua they offered. It would be great if there were more to choose from. Will come back for the bar b q next time

Best tacos de costilla and the spicy peanut sauce is to die for. Parking can be tricky but worth it.

Expensive, taste was ordinary!! You can get tacos like those in any other taco truck😉

Only rating their ribs, I had seen their ig & went to try the ribs with spicy peanut sauce thinking the sauce would be a spicier version of Thai peanut sauce, nope not at all the chile overpowered any peanut flavor...a 5 piece plate is $25 & honestly the sides are not worth that price, I went around 1pm & the rice was a bit old looking & some grains were hard & dry & the macaroni salad was nothing spectacular...past the spice there is a good smoke flavor & tenderness to the meat & that was the only thing that saved this visit also these are beef ribs & not pork
