El Canton

I was searching for some crepes on Christmas night…. And I found this place! Super cute little space and so yummy!!! Must try :)

El Canton is a Hidden gem! This new place is definitely one you’ll want to check out for the fresh fruit, unique drinks, and potential. Right on the corner of Waba Grill so if you’re looking for dessert but want something more filling like a crepe or even just a refreshing drink (that isn’t soda!) to have while you have Yogurtland, then this hits the spot!

I've never had crepes before, but always wanted to try it and it was good. Nothing mind blowing, but I did enjoy the spongy dessert with hella toppings on it. The crepe had the texture of Injera and taste of pancakes. I got the Build Your Own Crepe which consists of Strawberry, "Banana", Vegan Nutella, Vegan Condensed Milk (Coconut), Raspberry, Cacao Nibs, Caramel, and Honey. Yes, a lot of toppings, haha. You only get a maximum of 3 toppings for free, and any other are additional money.

The presentation was beautifully messy. I couldn't wait to dive. I didn't have any expectations, but did enjoy this sweetness overload. The vegan nutella tasted like Ferrero Rocher( which I honestly dislike. I hate that chocolate, haha), I couldn't taste the honey, and I didn't receive the bananas I ordered.

I don't even like coffee, but got the Regular Hazelnut Cold Brew with added Macadamia Milk just cuz, hehe. Too bitter, not for me, and I threw half the drink down the drain and replaced it with my Silk Oat Milk which honestly made the drink better.

Overall, the Modified Crepe and Cold Brew was alright for my first time :)

Just ate my late breakfast and I'm starting to love theat I missed my morning food. Check out the picture to see what I enjoyed munching on with a side of Chi coffee...;)
