Beautiful, top notch cocktails, and deeply soulful Mexican-inspired food.

The dishes are clearly based on Mexican fare, but Chef Quesada also shows hints of Spanish and Italian flare.

'70s Decor, but in the classy vibe - like the midcentury thing grew up.

    Love it.

Truly exceptional fish dishes. The Branzino with mole verde is a stand out, the dry-aged fish is delicious by itself but dip into the mole verde (no meat/poultry stock used) and it's phenomenal. Request tortillas and make your own tacos The tortilla chips are made using rice bran oil and your taste buds will recognize the distinct flavor immediately. The ceviche is delicious and I'd recommend dipping the chips in the caldo. The swordfish tacos are a delight thanks to the dry-aging and creme. Do try the pulpo-jardin (cocktail). Do try the churro bites which are prepared to perfection, most restaurants oversaturate the bites in oil, Encanto did not. Even if you don't want the bites, order them for the creme that comes with it, it's addicting.

Just came here for drinks and was disappointed at the prices of the margaritas, it would have been palatable if the drink was wonderful but it was very average. It was early in the reopening so I may give it another shot. Nice ambiance.

I got the braised beef tacos & a side of beans - I usually don't order beef in tacos but it spoke to me, & it exceeded expectations. My friend ordered the half chicken & ate more than I've ever seen her eat in one meal - that is the highest compliment I could give it. They have a lot of mezcal, which I personally enjoy, & my drink was great, but I'd recommend that someone who didn't enjoy mezcal be careful to make sure their drink doesn't have it as an ingredient. Vibe was laid back, a bit of a contemporary/throwback combo. There is a dj who comes in at a certain point but it's not distracting. Overall loved it & will definitely be back.

It’s always amusing to me when it’s a Latin/Mexican place but they don’t play the music to support the theme.

Guac was good when mixed with the green salsa. The beans were yummy to dip with.

The gin Hoopiter (Jupiter) cocktail was the best one I tasted. Names are a bit extra and fun to pronounce as a native speaker - but the bartender couldn’t understand me (?) 🙃

Ambient was good- lgbtqia+ presence was lacking. It seems to be going for a CDMX/Condesa/Col Juarez vibe but falls a bit short.
