Incredible food at really reasonable prices, and super nice people and staff.
Crab Diavolo is ridiculous, so buttery, spicy and the crab was HUGE.
Cioppino is old school in the best way possible, fantastic depth of flavor and fresh seafood. We love this place, one of our relatives from Midwest said it was the highlight of their LA visit.
Great bar, nice even if you go without intention to bowl. Bowling with people watching does not feel as weird as I thought it might. The lanes are at a ‘half-level’ below the floor with the bar.
Pricey, but lanes charged by the hour. The only per-person charge was our shoes. So, splitting a lane between two can be costly, but reasonable for a group of 4 or more; which makes sense because the place gets busy.
This place was busy while I was there. I had a good time I didnt get to bowl since there was an event going on while I was there. The bar is stocked and the bartenders are really nice. The security doesn't make you uncomfortable like at some other places. This is a place you want to do dressy casual at.
Happy hour 5pm-8 Mon-Friday, with brunch specials and more. Very lively and pretty much all seats taken on a Wednesday night with live music played in their music room. Fries are only $4!
Other specials:
Friday night 10pm burlesque show.
Sat and Sun 11am-3pm Brunch with $20 rose bottles.
Saturday $25/hr bowl until 4pm.
Sunday Karaoke 10pm-2am.
I’ve been here twice for drinks and it’s always a great experience. The cocktails are top-notch, and the happy house prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous, and not too loud despite the bowling lanes. I will say the bartenders seem like they hate life, the patrons or a combination of both. Oh well.
