THE BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Crispy, juicy, well seasoned. Wayyyy better than Dave’s hot chicken. Everything from the presentation to the spices on the crinkle fries, AMAZING! I’m visiting from NY and I’m so sad to go back and not be able to eat main chick anytime soon. :( definitely will pay another visit next time I’m in cali!
Had for the first time, was so good. Had the two chicken sandwich and fries spicy and it was the bomb. Fries had a kicking seasoning on it and the chicken was juicy and crispy. My new favorite when I come to the area.
Flavor and price wise this sandwich is a good deal. This sandwich only costs $5.50 and is packed with flavor. I got medium and it was perfect. Not overpowering but still has a good kick. Chicken was crispy and juicy. Only downsides were the slaw, appearance and shape of the chicken. Slaw was a bit lacking in quantity and flavor, the sandwich only visually looks OK as it doesn't stick out at you and finally the chicken isn't as wide as the sandwich (more so tender shaped) so you don't really get chicken in every bite. But for the price, still a good deal.
Love, love, love this place! Thank God they have delivery and takeout! I ordered the food and the delivery was on time without any accident. I was eating the tastiest Chicken Tender ever! And most of all I like the option to choose the hotness. I will definitely make the order from Main Chick again.
Part of the Colony, which houses a bunch of other restaurants under one roof. Came here on a Thursday night to grab dinner with a friend around 7 to catch up. There’s some long tables with high chairs where you can sit and chat, but the place is small and most people just came in to grab their order and then leave. The chicken tenders themselves came in 3 for the combo alongside fries. The fries are crinkle-cut and have a sweet, subtle heat. I got a medium heat, which I thought was a good spice level (I do like spicy). There was enough food for me to have leftovers for dinner the next day, but you could definitely split with someone and be full. The chicken sandwich was just a tender between bread and with coleslaw so I didn’t think it was worth getting.
You can order your food at one of the touch pads where you can customize your order and print out a receipt. They’ll call our your name once the food is ready. They’re not the friendliest, and I think this place is more of a take-out type of spot. No parking lot, so just find street parking on one of the side streets. There’s one gender neutral bathroom and no free water (so bring a water bottle, or purchase a water bottle there).
