Modern Bread and Bagel

This place is so good. We ordered a breakfast Bagel, ahoy mate. It was large and so tasty. The line was a bit long, but the cashier, Ashley, was so friendly and patient. It was worth the wait. Great job, Ashley and Modern Bagel. We'll be back!

One thing that there used to just be too little of in the Woodland Hills area was great and inspired bagel spots, but Modern Bread and Bagel is changing the game. They offer more than your standard bagel and spread, their menu is genuinely innovative, fresh and fun. It's shockingly good without much pretense or pomp. Once your get down into the food its just freaking good and stands up on its own. My favorite by far is The Shroom, I am honestly a little addicted right now. Mushroom sausage? It sounds like a hipster fantasy (* and it is ) but its also wildly good and gives you an epicurean experience that's so signature it quickly becomes the kind of thing you have to eat multiple times so you can meditate on its greatness, seriously. The baked goods are equally impressive, I didn't know Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread was a thing i needed so badly in my life, until this place.The staff is friendly but not fake and the ambiance is chill enough to hang around but casual enough that you can get your food and go to. I am happy they are here and you will be too once you dig in.

Gluten Free Dream, come true. AFFORDABLE AND SO GOOD. Breadblock is not nearly as good and it’s double the price. Tots are amazing, loved the bread and bagels. Donut was my favorite. Can’t wait to try more.

A good GF place, the cinammon roll was super, the bagle sandwiches are good too. We tried the eggs and bacon, the avocado toast and the tuna salad. They have a nice selection of pastries too. You can sit out side and enjoy your meal.

I think I'm in love. I might have to sell my first born, I love them so much. Everything is gluten free!! Again, louder for those in the back....EVERYTHING IS GLUTEN FREE!!! The bagels are so good. Had a breakfast sammie on a bagel today and it was great. Brought one home the other day to toast and it was great. Seriously, they're great. The chocolate rugelach was perfect. Did I mention that everything is gluten free?
