Sugarfish

This has to be the oddest place because there’s no store front like the other Sugarfish restaurants but Postmates uses it. It must be a ghost kitchen for to-go orders. So the other reviewers were correct, it took SO long to get our food delivered, about 2 hours. I don’t know why but it did. The tracker on Postmates stayed pending at “preparing” for about 2 hours (latest time to receive at 9:05pm). When it was about 10 mins till 9:00pm, it assigned my order to a driver and by 9:05pm hit, it arrived. So if you really need it ASAP I would pick it up at another legit Sugarfish location.

As for the food, everything tasted great and fresh. I’ve eaten at the restaurants several times and it was very comparable so luckily my experience with that was good because I have a sensitive stomach.

I love this place. I always order after I eat dinner and am too full to eat, but by the time it comes, I’m full again. What a great idea. And unlike subway they actually use some real fish. Like the name says, I for sure “trust them”

I really like the presentation of their packaging. Simple on the outside but in the inside it had lots of pictures and shows you what sauce ( ponzu or soy ) to properly use on the sushi and sashimi. For someone who is oblivious to these things, it felt good to learn new stuff about dining sushi.

I got the Trust me to-go lite box. The tuna sashimi was chewy soft and fresh. You can tell the quality was top notch. The 4 sushis included ( albacore, yellow tail, sweet shrimp and salmon ) were all really good too. The rolls were okay. I don't think I could tell the difference with other rolls.

Their condiments containers were okay ( a bit small ) I just wish they put more pickled ginger.

I would go back and try here again if I'm craving sushi 🍣
