Sushi Ye

Never thought I would write a review about a spicy tuna roll but wow, they make a great one. The owners are very nice and the food is fresh and tastes great! Highly recommend!

It is what it is, and it isn't what it isn't, it is a place to get great simple very high quality sushi, it isn't a fancy dimly lit restaurant. I think many people go here expecting it to be something exciting and amazingly unique, but that's not where sushi gen shines. Sushi Ye has the highest turn over of fish in LA for a sushi restaurant, that means they can offer great prices on very high quality fish. If you like simple sushi at a reasonable price them Sushi Ye = Good.

Their sushi quality is great! It is owned by an old couple.

The sushi is long and a little thick for my preference but the rice ratio is pretty decent. I'm giving it a 3 star because this place doesn't WOW me or anything. It's just a great alternative if I can't get in Noshi Sushi.

They give a lot of service which I really appreciate, it's a super tiny place so I don't recommend big groups at all. No alcohol here either.

Definitely one of the best chirashi I've ever tried. Not only fresh, but very tasty, flavorful cuts of fish. Had it for take-out; must go back to dine in!!

Every each sushi is very fresh and well managed. When you order sushi, every piece of raw fish in top is slightly larger and thicker than other normal sushi. Highly recommended to try GAN JANG SAE WOO (Soy sauce Marinated Shrimp)
