My top two are the popcorn chicken and the Chinese Chicken Salad. The salad reminds me of slaw and it's really great. I wanted to like the Fried Chicken more than I did.

Friendly staff. Huge menu. I only go for basic rolls but it all looks good. Cool community vibes. Birthdays encouraged. Locals seem to like.

Wow, the Ma You Ji (sesame chicken soup) is incredible. The broth is one of the most flavorful broths I’ve had, filled with a real chicken-y flavor and lots of herbs and spices (yum garlic!). It was so good I actually had to order another side of broth to go with it!

They were incredibly nice and helpful, the space is really comfortable and clean (aesthetically and physically) and they seem to do a great job navigating the American-Taiwanese fusion. I would definitely return!

Came here just when it opened, so they were understandably out of all their amazing chicken. I’ve heard so many good things about their fried chicken, but we came a little after dinner time and they were all sold out.

I was very grateful that the waitress explained how this is Taiwanese food with a twist. I’m Taiwanese, so that helped lower my expectations of finding THE spot in L.A that can do Taiwanese street food. They didn’t have beef noodle soup, in my mind that is Taiwan 101. I got their Hainan chicken, and asked for the soup for an extra $2. It’s not offered otherwise. My friends got their chicken sandwich, and they liked it. Our garlic noodles were really salty. We ate the whole thing because it came as an appetizer and we were hungry, but I mentioned the saltiness to the waitress, and could feel the eyes from the kitchen.

I don’t know if I will be back.. I honestly miss Humble Potato and I am too much of a Taiwanese foodie to get my fix from here.

Solid fusiony/ Taiwanese food, however the menu is fairly safe. Decent happy hour with decent tap list and good value in canned wines.

Don't expect to be blown away, but homey enough that's reasonably priced for the west side.
