Tulsi Indian Eatery (Northridge)

Am so glad to have a thali place here in The Valley since ‘that other one’ decided to expand their menu and are no longer the authentic Indian place they were. But Tulsi does it well. The place has a modern feel to it which is nice but it does feel a little ‘fast food’ in that you order from a counter and your food comes, well, fast! Which is not necessarily a bad thing. The food itself was very respectable. There were 2 things on there I didn’t care for: a ball thingy that tasted like fish and another curry (cauliflower) I think that wasn’t great. But the rest was. The lassi it comes with was great too as were the breads and condiments. All in all I like this place and will be back!!

I have been ordering from this place so many times online via UberEats and in person as a Friday treat! This restaurant is modern and well decorated when you first walk in. I have been enjoying the Thali experience which is so fun cause it's a surprise every time. I also really love their Rasmalai and Black Forest cake. The price, and quality of their food is SPECTACULAR. Highly recommend to give this place a visit!!

The Service: All the staffs are super friendly, efficient & attentive. Since I am not very familiar with Indian food, thanks to the staff who took care the ordering for me!

The Food: I tried the Premium Thali Menu. The presentation of the food is so unique in a silver tray. It's so much fun trying different dishes in small portions. Definitely a full course including the appetizer, drinks & dessert!

I did finish the whole tray and I was so stuffed!! Leaving with happy smile~

The Parking: Plaza parking. Plenty of parking spots.

Awesome Indian fast food. So much variety. Staff is friendly. Fantastic ambience for indoor dining. Very open and spacious. This is our new to go for Indian food.

The experience we had was lovely! We ordered quite a bit, and the wait time wasn’t that long — enough time for us to settle down and drink our water. The food was also very good, but for us, we didn’t enjoy the tacos as much. But, I can see why someone else would enjoy them. The staff was also very polite and nice; would return again!
