I've never eaten authentic Korean dishes so I was a little iffy to try it. The Spicy Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Pork Bulgogi are so good: I couldn't keep my fork down. The employees are so nice and attentive. This is a restaurant I'll definitely frequent more.

2021.12-31/FRI_1100: OMG. We've been waiting to try the Mul Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles) but there were SO many other items that we wanted to try! Originally, we were going to get the Braised Short Rib (Maeun Cheese Gori Galbuim) but we figured that would be way too much since we wanted to try several dishes!

We ended up getting the Beef Bulgogi, Beef Tendon Soup, Beef Brisket Soup and the Mul Naengmyeon. Everything was so perfect being that we wanted mainly meat dishes. Our AWESOME polyglot server was the man with helping us choose what we wanted. He rocked!

Out came all the Banchans and they were incredible in flavor. We had a little side of Kkakdugi (radish kimchee), Baechu Kimchee (my ABSOLUTE favorite one), Eomuk Bokkeum (fried fish cake), Oi Muchim (spicy cucumber salad), pasta salad and sesame broccoli with tofu.

About three minutes later, our Beef Tendon Soup and the Beef Brisket Soup arrived. Piping hot. It was perfect for me. I didn't want noodles in my Beef Tendon Soup. Just the meat and the broth. My type of soup. Like I said, our server knew EXACTLY what we wanted. The Beef Brisket Soup came with noodles, the perfect balance of meat and noodles.

The reason why I didn't want any noodles - I was waiting for my favorite soup to come out... The Mul Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles Soup). This, my friends, is HEAVEN in a bowl. It's a Korean cold noodles in a chilled broth. Sounds a little crazy but once you take your first bite, you will be hooked. Ever since I had my first bite off the strip in Vegas, I've been destined to find a bowl locally in Los Angeles. It's cucumber and vinegar based broth will be so refreshing once it hits your lips. Sometimes it's served with potato or sweet potato noodles, this one was served with buckwheat noodles. Heaven in your mouth.

The Beef Bulgogi was served just like it was in the picture we saw. A mound of delicous, tender slices of beef atop of Japchae (glass noodles) with caramelized green and white onions. Their Bulgogi was savory. They'll give you a serving of rice with your Banchans so no worry if you need rice with your Bulgogi.

All in all, the experience was fantastic. We dined in and their service was also incredible. I was so happy that another person even acknowledged my little baby (bear) and she greeted him, too! We will definitely be back! We love Yangji Gamjatang!
