Zinqué - Century City

Great dinner spot with a beautiful interior! All the appetizers were amazing but the dish that really surprised me was the fried artichoke, it was delicious! The cocktails were also fire! My main, which was the salmon was tasty but just a very big portion, would have been enough without the appetizers!

I stopped by on Thanksgiving, and they were in 2-3 places that opened, which I appreciate.
I had a chance to experience with non-crowded atmosphere to take photos and have better views/options to choose where to sit.

They have a bar area, plenty of seats inside, and many medium to high outdoor seating areas where you can see people walking or the front view of the mall.

I ordered the smoked salmon sandwiches and a lavender latte but did not taste much of the lavender. The smoked salmon sandwiches were great, not too heavy, and quick to come out after ordering around 10 mins on a non-peak date of my visit.

I tried this restaurant in the Newport Beach area, so I'm not sure how it works during peak times or how long the wait is in general.

I’m going to be lenient with Zinqué, as I can tell there is quality here but it’s definitely not a takeout restaurant. As you can see I ordered takeout from here, which is usually a big mistake when you order things such as Steak and fries.

Speaking of which, the steak was quite good. It was cooked a little more then medium rare, but it’s likely due to being ordered takeout. The peppercorn sauce combine very well with the steak. The chimichurri… not so much. It tasted just like olive oil and cilantro. The fries are much better fresh. I would have liked if they offered an aioli sauce opposed to a sriracha Mayo, but it is what it is.

The burger was quite good. It wasn’t exceptional, but I wasn’t disappointed at all by it. The Banh Mi feel a bit flat. I’d recommend just going to a Vietnamese restaurant if you want a proper Banh Mi.

Overall I think Zinqué is a good lunch spot. I’d advise avoiding takeout or delivery here as a lot of the menu deserves to be tried fresh from the kitchen to the table.

Stopped in for dinner, had a couple drinks, appetizer, entree and dessert. The server was friendly and very helpful. Steak Frites was great, easily one of the best steaks I've had and the fries were also terrific. Prices are on the higher side, but unsurprising given the neighborhood, and worth it.

Finding the restaurant was the trickiest part since its located in the Century City mall and for some reason there's not much signage for anything not on your floor. The restaurant is on the second floor, but when we arrived onto the first floor from the garage there was no clue where to go; it wasn't until we checked a directory that it became apparent.

Fabulous dining experience on my first night in LA for a work trip. Chose this place on a whim, because it was close to my hotel and open somewhat late.
Had a margarita that was very fresh and tasty. The mixed green and avocado salad was so simple, yet so delicious. I also got the beyond burger. It was very good, and I really enjoyed the shoestring French fries dipped in their spicy aioli. Both the bartenders were super friendly and attentive.
