Calamigos Ranch

My nephews wedding was spectacular! The staff was wonderful. The venue beautiful!

What an amazing ranch. Worked as a back ground actor on a television series shoot out there this week. We were one of two shows shooting out there at the same time, and we never came across the other production. The place is very large. They hold weddings and do lots of other large and small scale events. Firemen did a great job last year saving that place. Fire had burned all around it in the Malibu fires and they saved it.

Never knew this existed. A getaway from L.A. hustle and bustle. Another world. Doesn't feel like L.A. Feels like San Diego countryside!

This is a great little place but be ready to spend a little more than this midwesterner was expecting to spend. The rooms are essentially really nice trailers and the campus is nice as well. Take advantage of the local hiking and it will complete your stay.

Beautiful venue but a pretty nasty behind the scenes area. I worked an event recently and was shocked to see the condition of the employee bathroom; THERE WAS NO HOT WATER AVAILABLE FOR POST RESTROOM USE HAND WASHING. The storage of silverware, dishes, napkins was all outdoors. The venue is undeniably gorgeous but I'd think twice about recommending the location ????
