Reel Inn Malibu

Fantastic casual spot. Walked here after the beach and had a fresh piece of grilled halibut with steamed veggies. Fish was legit cooked PERFECT. Place is casual (trendy picnic tables), but has the warmest vibe. Melted in my mouth. Pricey but I couldn’t even finish the whole portion.

This is the type of place I do not like to review because I fear that it will make it more crowded. Big main room with great views, order at the counter. They have fresh fish options. I got the fish and chips and it was the best I have had in a long time. Large thick pieces of delicious fish. It was a bit chilly that evening so they started a fire in he wood stove in the middle of the room. So nice.

An institution and for good reason. Good staff, fresh fish and crustaceans, good beer menu and excellent vibe make this place a must do! Do the patio if weather permits...nice!

I was lost as all hell while riding my bike around the area for the first time, would have eaten anything at that point but I'm glad I found this place. I could smell it down the street. Great calamari, I had tilapia tacos which were also good and a fair price. Took 1 star off for the frantic nature of the kitchen, it took longer than it should have for the food to come out because the tickets were being mixed up. I've worked in kitchens my whole life so they have my empathy but I have to be honest.

Loved the fresh fish on the menu
Ordered the Tuna with great coleslaw with rice. Sat outside on the patio with the sun shining. Love this place
