Surf Food Stand and beach rentals

It’s the only restaurant in the southbay that you can actually put your toes in the sand while eating breakfast/lunch/dinner. Why our city doesn’t allow more experiences like that, I don’t know.
Some beer and wine would be nice too but LA won’t allow it I’m sure.
The food is decent to good. Try the chicken Kabob plate.

This is an excellent place to go for beach food and drink, although there is no alcohol. It is family friendly and has a great view. Bathrooms are nearby and there are bike racks and sprays to wash off the sand and ocean water. It is best to pay with cash as there is a surcharge for credit card use. Most importantly, the food is great.

One of my favorite places to hang out! Food is good and the location is the best for a beach hangout. They also rent surfboards and beach essentials. It's not the best looking beach view but it's not overcrowded like most of the other popular beaches and parking is available, which is why I love this place.

This is a great place to grab a bit to eat after a swim or surf. The chairs are in the sand, and they have lots of big umbrellas for shade. The food is good and a good deal considering their premium location. They have breakfast, milkshakes, and a mix of Mexican and Mediterranean food (kabobs, hummus...). We will almost certainly be back.

Perfect! Very sweet and respectful staff! Clean and peaceful environment. The food was fresh and fabulously delicious! Inexpensive and just wonderful place. To chill solo. Love it finally I live in Torrance and all along the coast from R.A.T beach to El Porto I have looked for what seems to be the cleanest part of the coastline there. Great beach cafe, folks from all over the world and local..tried Perry's not such a great experience. Totally the opposite. Some nice staff..but nvm the rest. So yea..my favorite place since o can't enjoy my mountains everyday. Thank you Surf cafe & to the folks of that area!
