“Oh my goodness was the food here good! I was there kind of early for a Saturday and went by myself as I was on business but felt right at home. I sat at the bar and the staff took really great care of me. I don't eat meat so I had to get a little creative, but it wasn't too hard. The autumn spring roll was great, but the okra curry really put my meal over the edge. It was AMAZING and I got a side of jasmine rice to mix right in. Beer selection was good too. My only complaint would be I wish they made separate pork, beef, and shrimp dumplings so that I could've had a shrimp one. My own issue though!”

“This place is great. My wife and I just ventured out one evening and wondered into Darren's. This will be my date night spot when visiting L.A. The food is very fresh and full of flavor. Great presentation and atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and warm. The only complaint is your almost touching elbows with your neighbor but just makes for an adventurous evening.”

“Today me and a coworker had lunch today at this Subway and I got to be 100% honest with everyone, there customer service is off the charts, very excellent and very nice. All the staff here I give them a 10 star rating. The bread was so fresh and smells so good, everything about Subway is true, but there are other Subways are not that good, but hopefully they get better. Why a 4 star, parking sucks around here in Manhattan Beach and try finding a spot on the street is impossible but we found one. “Salmon dish is out of this world! It is soft as butter and balanced perfectly with beets and sauce that is probably made out of clouds and rain drops. Definitely combine this with the squash rolls with rosemary butter. This place isn't a hidden gem I'd say but worth the wait and early reservations you have to make. Tiny tiny spot but makes every dish worth while. Don't not come here you will be missing out on the ebst place in Manhattan Beach. Bartender makes great cocktails that are perfectly balanced and can make anything off menu also. Large bar selection to keep your appetite. If you don't have reservations you will have to take your chances for sitting at the bar, first come first serve. Worth the visit.”

“Had a good breakfast here. Get there early because it's a popular spot. Inside and outside seating. We sat inside...seating is a little cramped. Service was pleasant and your coffee is refreshed regularly which goes along way when you're a coffee drinker. Overall nice experience. Would have given 5 stars if we had a ROCK STAR server but no above and beyonds here to make me remember a name.”

“I was lucky that I went there and had some Manhattan Beach locals help with picking out some of the specialty rolls from the sushi bar. The baked crab hand roll was amazing and a great starter to the meal. Staff very helpful, and though the place might be crowded with a 1 hour to 45 min wait, their system allows you to be notified via text and calls. They told us it would take a while to be seated, but it was much shorter wait that stated. Great place, and location is amazing!”

“The food is delicious. Reasonable pricing too. Many options to choice from. We sampled their soups the corn chowder and the chicken tortilla. They were both good. If you buy one of their suppers a soup or salad comes on the side plus a garlic toast or muffin which they forgot to give us. So we got the stir fry chicken. It was good. Lots of veggies plus we got the chicken tortilla it tasted hot and cold which is interesting. Also we got the chicken club with fries. It was good. The portions were huge and just right. So make sure your hungry lol. They also have a patio. I love their flowers and decor inside as well.”

“I love this shop! This place is full of unique jewelry, clothes, home furnishings, and gifts. Plus the owner is amazing, I accidentally left 3 rings in the restroom after washing my hands. After frantically retracing my steps, I remembered I left them at homie’s and called the shop. The owner found them and was saving them in an envelope waiting for me. Truly amazing customer service!”
