Yoma Myanmar

Stylish, hopping hipster joint with good service, creative adult beverage selection and interesting food. Been a couple of times, consistent experience and a home-run place to take out-of-town visitors who don't have access to the variety of food that we do here in NorCal.

I always order the same things from here and they never disappoint. Highly recommend the tea leaf salad, basil chili pork belly, coconut rice, and platha. For beers, their Burma cooler has a hint of lemon that is nice and refreshing. There's always a wait, but compared to their sister restaurant, Burma Superstar, the wait here is much better. Their bar seating is first come first serve, so you can have a shorter wait time by eating there. Their bar counters are deep and comfortable to eat at.

Went on a Saturday night with a party of 6. Small space up front and saw some tables towards the back. Food was phenomenal! Highlights: Fried Beef (cut thin and crispy) & Burmese tofu (made in house from chickpeas). I have been to Burma Superstar up in the Bay Area and waited some ridiculous time for good Burmese food. This was just as good and definitely more homey. The owner was extremely helpful and nice. Will have to go back again!

We've gone twice now and love this place. Yoma is our new favorite. Everything is fresh and delicious, the service is friendly and personable, the food comes out fast and hot, and the cost is always so low. And we always have enough to take home for breakfast the next day!
