My Chinese coworkers told me this was as close as to you could get to barbecue you'd find in China. Just having come back from Beijing, I would agree. Totally delicious.
That said, this place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall, greasy spoon. The floor is super greasy so there's cardboard for you find your footing. It is charming in its own way.
The wait here can be long so call ahead. Also, the menu is all in Chinese. Fortunately I had the benefit of my Chinese friends, but if I came here by myself, I would probably just point at items on other people's tables.
Everything here was really good.
Food is good but limited by price, cheap and tasty
It’s hard to find a place like this in US, keep the original local BBQ flavor and I like it.
This place overall is decent compared to other skewer places especially in Chinese styles. Food quality here is good especially scallop and beef but it is a little bit spicy (corn and mushroom it is also spicy when no spicy is the best in my mind). However, parking here sometimes is rough to find because it is in a small plaza. Also, this place is self service to grab a own drinks (that is better to me because I don't have to wait for another drinks). Overall, this place is decent when people get their food in late night.
San Pedro Ports of Call seasoning is much better but this was ok
