Monterey Palace Restaurant

The food is very good. Just wish the service workers speak more English.

This place was new probably 10 years or less in this area. Parking here at this restaurant was considered average, which means that not enough spaces for customers to park. The restaurant looked comfortable and bright. Foods at this restaurant were also average, it wasn't too salty or oily as others establishment. Services at this place were good and friendly. Have not tried their dim sum yet but will do on the other dates.

When I first try and order the dim sum there, I thought the server may swing by the table with the food cart, asking people what they want to order. It turns out that we have to put a checkmark in the box next to the name of the food we want to order, but I'm getting used to the service. The interior look clean. The food was tasty because it comes out fresh. I definitely would come there more often.

A friend recommended that I come here since he said the stuff they make here is fresh. I really like dim sum so I was down to try. Parking lot is rather small so you'll have to find street parking probably. Wait was about 30-40 min. It's not a cart dim sum place. Instead you order on a sheet of paper and they bring out the food. Each dish was good. The hao gao skin had a nice and springy texture as well as fresh shrimp. Everything else that came was delicious too. Overall great experience here. Would come again. Probably come early to find parking and less wait time.
