great place! hopefully you can be in a larger room where the carts are more frequent
Mediocre at best. Plenty of other place around that serve better food and lower prices. The prices here are pretty outrageous. It's almost double some other places. Where some places charge a little over $2 this places charges $3.50! Outrageous!!!!!
This restaurant has been around for a long time in Monterey Park. It's been a popular choice mostly for Dim Sum. It has been a while since my last visited, and I am happy to find their Dim Sum quality is still decent while their service is good. Plenty of parking. Expect a long wait during the weekend.
NBC Seafood Restaurant is probably one of the best 3 places for dim sum in the greater Los Angeles area. While it is a bit more expensive than some of it's competition, it is very much worth the cost. The food is across the menu, delicious..particularly their dim sum and seafood. There are several items that are unique to this restaurant, or only found in a handful elsewhere. BTW: the Peking duck wrap is outstanding. Another item highly recommended is a purple yam filled doughnut that is unique here, and available in limited quantities only on the weekends. Expect a wait in the weekends and holidays: this is a popular place for families during these times. Like all Chinese seafood restaurants, expect a fair amount of noise..not a place for intimate conversation. On the other hand you will have a great meal and a good time. Service is typical for the genre..not the most attentive, but reasonably polite.
Great Chinese food if you're able to shell out a bit more per entree ($15-$20). Came for dinner, and managed to beat the rush around 6PM. The pork and eggplant, minced fish in lettuce, and honey walnut prawns are must haves!
Parking is available outside, and portions are generous (we had lots of leftovers ordering so dishes for four people).
