“This place was new probably 10 years or less in this area. Parking here at this restaurant was considered average, which means that not enough spaces for customers to park. The restaurant looked comfortable and bright. Foods at this restaurant were also average, it wasn't too salty or oily as others establishment. Services at this place were good and friendly. “Not designed to be a hangout spot, it's just a grab-and-go type of tea joint. The service is excellent and the flavors of their twisted potatoes are delicious but just too expensive for that little snack. There isn't much to say in this review, unfortunately. I ordered a Frozen Paradise Slush-Tea for the kids, sans the tea part because I didn't want them having the caffeine, so the gentleman made it with water instead and they thought it was so good. I wish this little shop lots of luck and success but personally, I wouldn't revisit.”

“I came here for the $1.00 lamb skewers that my friends were bragging about and they did not disappoint. Not only were they only $1.00 per skewer, if you ordered ten skewers, then you got one FOR FREE. WOW. Like their prices weren't already crazy low, they gotta throw a complimentary one in there too? Impressive. The place is tiny, maximum capacity of 13 people, according to the fire department. Restaurant is clean though and not cluttered at all. Service is friendly and excellent. When you walk in, the ladies are there in the corner sliding the raw meat onto the sticks, so you know they're super fresh. I would totally make the drive for those skewers again. They were cooked to perfection- slightly fatty, moist and perfectly seasoned with the right amount of cumin. Loved it!”

“We came here for lunch on a Friday, base on recommendation from a nephew. The restaurant is in a typical strip mall, inside not too big with about 8 tables. Their specialty is Beijing style meat pies, so we ordered 3 types: summer squash and lamb, leek and pork, both of which comes in round forms (4 per order), and lastly the Homeland meat cake. The meat cake came out first, and basically was two thin layers of breading with a layer of seasoned pork. Very tasty! The round pies were also full of flavor and juicy. All were freshly made and came right out of the fryer. For our picky son we ordered xiao long bao, and he seemed to enjoy it. The only thing that detracted from the food experience was that the interior was grimy, paint chipping in the walls. Service was okay and not better or worse than a typical Chinese restaurant. 4 stars for the food, maybe next time will carry out instead.”

“I always order the same things from here and they never disappoint. Highly recommend the tea leaf salad, basil chili pork belly, coconut rice, and platha. For beers, their Burma cooler has a hint of lemon that is nice and refreshing. There's always a wait, but compared to their sister restaurant, Burma Superstar, the wait here is much better. Their bar seating is first come first serve, so you can have a shorter wait time by eating there. Their bar counters are deep and comfortable to eat at.”

“This was our first time dining at this place. This place does not have a large selection of items, but I find that a good thing for a speciality restaurant. Haven't had a chance to try all the dishes yet but the two that we did have were very authentic and tasty. The 2 dishes we got we're the Bún bò hué (#1) and the bún riêu (#2). The ingredients that they use in both of these dishes are very authentic and on point, but that does not necessarily mean that anyone would enjoy it. I've had these dishes at other Vietnamese restaurant before and although they may be good, most of the times they don't include all the necessary ingredients to do the dish justice. This is understandable if you take into consideration that some restaurants cater to the local demographic. For instance, I have often craved bún bò huê only to order it at other restaurants and find out that it is not spicy (as it should be) or it does not come with a pork hock or any cubed pork blood (which it should have), which is very disappointing. Again, I look for a certain degree of cultural culinary authenticity with my fare and find that the flavor and authenticity here is legit. Its a bit on the pricier side, but worth the value. I would suggest the regular sizes for starters as it is already a good amount of food.”

The service is efficient but the star is the quality of the noodle, the near perfect soup base, and fresh ingredients expertly crafted. Noodle and ramen lovers will not be disappointed eating here. “I was expecting the food here to follow in the old Southern tradition but was pleased to find the menus trending in a contemporary direction with emphasis on lean, fresh and organic fare -- while still keeping with Low Country/Southern convention. My favorite dish at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant, in fact, was shrimp and grits topped with a tasty tasso sauce and loaded with locally netted Georgia white shrimp,which are positively unmatched for flavor. The chef and his staff are staunch advocates of the farm-to-table concept, sourcing produce, meats, poultry and dairy products almost exclusively from Georgia organic farms.will be back”
