Wanted to try the Monday night buffet and was pleasantly surprised. food was Good, service good and friendly would definitely recommend it.

My husband and are regulars here. As soon as we walk in the guys bring my husband his margarita. They have the best fajitas shrimp for sure

We ate lunch there on a weekday. There was no wait, business was slow. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and looks clean. The food is good but I think it could use more spice. If you like heat you would definitely need hot sauce. The portions are large and the prices are comparable to other Mexican restaurants. I ordered the Chile Relleno with beans and rice, others ordered a burrito and the hard shell taco platter. All dishes tasted good but more like American Mexican food, not authentic Mexican. I really enjoyed their deep fried ice cream. The ice cream was frozen hard with a crispy shell, they get 5 stars for their deep fried ice cream. The El Toreo DC make a nice neighborhood restaurant for a family night out.
