There are not very many (if any) real Cuban restaurants in my native Cleveland area. So while I was in town, I decided I wanted to come here because I always love me a Cuban sandwich. Well, I had a Cuban sandwich.....and about 7 other things on the menu that I don't recall the names of. All I know is while I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich, the various meats were actually the highlight of the meal. The place itself was very quaint, and doesn't have much seating (we waited at the bar for a good 45 mins or so before getting a table), but the food was definitely worth the wait.
Great little place for Cuban food. Took my nephew here for his 21st birthday and had a blast and really enjoyed the food. The service was great and the drinks did not stop coming. Will recommend to anyone looking for some good Cuban food.
First time there and I loved it. I really felt I was experiencing a touch of Cuba. It is small yet decor was nice and the food was great. Can't wait to go again .
The food was absolutely delicious. Plantain starter, congri (rice and bean mixture), beef, shrimp, all were so interesting and flavorful, yet evoked Mom's home cooking. My mom didn't cook like that at all, but still the effect was like coming home. A dessert wine and banana bourbon cake ended the meal nicely. The service was excellent. I would go again on a special occasion, making reservations next time.
This was our first time here and everything was great. We got two different plates and two different sandwiches and everything was delicious. The bread for the sandwiches is grilled in garlic butter, and both their garlic fried and plantain chips were really good. We also got a side of vegetables cooked in a chimichurri sauce that was killer. We will definitely eat here again.
