Pie'n Burger

Had the cheeseburger and boysenberry pie. Great pie, great burger! It's a no-frills diner-type place, but in the best possible way. Burger was delicious, moist, and flavorful. The pie had a flaky crust and scrumptious filling that wasn't overly sweet. All the waitresses were super friendly. Would absolutely recommend!

A favorite place for delicious Burgers. This location is one of my favorites. The service was very helpful and observant. This place has a nice feel to it.

Really just a perfect diner burger and shake. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for the best of the basics. Just remember to bring cash! No cards accepted here.

EDIT: I agree with others in that the prices are high for what this place is (essentially a burger dive). Double cheeseburger and a side with a shake will set you back $25+

Might be the only Zagat rated hamburger joint in the San Gabriel Valley. This place is historic to Pasadena and still has an extremely loyal, generation-to-generation following, often serving diners from afar that still drive for hours to sit and eat here. They also have great shakes and pies, especially when berries are in season. Prepare to make a mess while eating one of their burgers. Great burgers and nostalgia, what could be better than that?

Cash only. This is a Pasadena institution, and the only thing that's changed since it opened is the price - a bit high for a dive spot. The burgers, fries, and shakes are all tasty. Time travel to the 60s and enjoy a great burger, but don't forget to bring cash.
