Lovebirds Cafe & Bakery

It's a hidden cafe away from old town Pasadena. The bread is exceptional, and they even have table service for your sandwich if you're staying.

We go here for the breakfast sandwiches, burritos especially, and the classic eggs and bacon. They have plenty of seating and internet. I wish the chairs and tables were a bit more comfortable.

A caution: aside from their pastries, it takes several minutes to get any made to order ; it's not a place for an in-and-out snack other than pastries.

There is a little parking in front on the street, but it's not long enough if you want to set up shop at one of the tables.

I was a little disappointed there were no birds. I was left a little confused. Great sandwich though. Note to managment. Get a parrot or something.

The baked goods and coffee are really good. It can take a while for things to be prepared, but freshness is appreciated. I had to correct the cashier for the right amount of change, but that's at a lot of places, unfortunately. Employees are friendly and thoughtful, though, so it balances out!
