    2019 Valentine's day was my first time, at Avanti! They were busy but overall service was excellent but the food, oohwee! Everything was tasty and my entree really impressed me. We shall return!

    We've been enjoying Avanti since it's first appearance as largely a take out pizza place on South Lake in the late 1980s. That place is gone, but this restaurant has the same pizza as well as very good Italian food choices. You'll enjoy the variety of pasta and specialty dishes, and the pizza that predated CPK for its eclectic variety is still as good as ever.

    Got seated rather quickly, though we did have reservations. Server was very nice and attentive to our needs. The bread before dinner was amazing, but our entres were a little less tasty than expected. Wouldn't mind going back, but we're not in an incredible hurry.

    I had the best salad, it was fantastic. My wife/better half had seafood fettuccine, she loved it.

    Good italian food, tasted authentic. Service can be a bit slow and it's also really tiny inside, so you may have to sit shoulder to shoulder with strangers. Good experience overall and satisfying.
