Excellent preparation, served piping hot, attractive presentation, ample servings, delicious, variety of meat selections and immediately replenished. We enjoyed our Womens luncheon Saturday. The service professional were courteous, kind & expedited requests. Thank you Pacific Mining Company...job well done!
The food was great and the waitress was okay. The rainbow trout and the baby back ribs were delicious. The View that you have while dining there is Great
Tried their Sunday brunch for
First time. Not bad. Lots of variety. Good dishes and very good deserts Prices reasonable for the food they offer. Server was also nice and friendly.
Nice view, even at night. Service was just passable. Food was above average, ribeye large and juicy. I do recommend the shrimp and scallops, best item on menu. Cheese bread is too rich, eating more then one piece is not recommended.
Very stylized and extensive rustic mining decor, meat and potatoes type menu, all you can eat salad bar, friendly staff, and great city views make this a very distinctive, iconic restaurant. Its located high on a hill overlooking the 10 freeway near the base of Kellogg hill. The views and the general ambiance are the main reason to come here. The food is also good however the pricing somewhat demands that it be very good or have the ambiance to make it worthwhile. I give it thumbs up, particularly if you want a nice place, but want to make your own choice of whether to dress up or go casual. Both, and all in between are acceptable. One potential issue I noticed is that there is a very steep long set of stairs down to the main restaurant and bar area. Very old people or less able people could have a problem here. I don't know if there is some other way to access those areas. You might want to call first to see what they say if that could be a problem.
