It's a small little spot in pomona.nice on the inside. Service was great, clean spot, food came promptly. I had Jose,s combination chicken wings whole , catfish nuggets, grits, waffles, eggs. The catfish nuggets and chicken was overcooked, fried too long. The nuggets seem like out of the grocery store. Not fresh fillets cut into nuggets. The grits and waffles was delicious. I would go back but try something else on the menu which had lots of dishes to choose from . I just won't have the Jose's platter again.
I've been wanting to check this spot for a while now and we finally had a chance to stop by. It was a little hard to find but once we did we were lucky enough to find a parking spot in the back.
My sister and I tried two different types of their chicken, the fried one & BBQ. Plates were nice portions and everything came out nice and hot. We both thought the fried one was a little dry but BBQ was juicy. Oh man, we both liked the potato salad and the rest of the sides were good as well. We would definitely return to try out more of their food.
It was a fantastic waffles and chicken lunch. Crispy not overcooked and good potatoes moist not overdone. Friend had hot links looked good as well. Great friendly service too! Small but cozy place.
Diner style eatery, reasonably priced, and good service. Extensive menu options. Fried wings and grits nicely seasoned. Eggs made to order. The waffle was a little thick for my taste but had good flavor. Four hot sauce choices and pepper sauce available. Others in my group had shrimp and grits, hot links and grits, salmon croquettes and grits.
I really like this little family diner. It's has all the regular breakfast choices but also fried fish and Cajun shrimp options. Pretty fun names for their menu items. I got a Tommy D which was a French toast meal. Gonna come back for sure.
