(December 27, 2018, 1:11 pm)Very popular place among the locals here. So be prepared to wait if you come during a popular time. Amazing prices. Lunch is about seven bucks for most of their dishes on the menu! Their fried sole fish is a pretty popular dish as it’s quite tasty. Food is family style and it comes with rice and a giant bowl of soup.

Lots of families go here and to the sister restaurant Golden Spoon on Valley (it's fancier and has private banquet rooms available for parties and weddings). Lunch prices go til at least 5:30 and currently, that's $6.50 per entree (at either location). Steamed rice, soup and tea are included, making this one of the best bargains in LA. Dinner is about a buck more per dish. Selection is wildly eclectic (60+ items!). We always have leftovers and take the rice too, for a great lunch next day at the office.
