The best way to describe the food is Western style cuisine with a mix of Asian fused in. For example, if you order the steak special, you're not going to get truly sumptuous and tender ribeye. To be honest, I don't know what cut of meat I really got. I just remembered it was thin and seemed to be tenderized into submission, lathered with black pepper sauce on a hot plate that had no defined taste. The other eats were similar in style, like the udon soup noodles. It was rather meh. Service could have been a lot better too. They only do anything when you flag them down. Otherwise, they will not check on you.

I've been coming here once a week for the past 18 years of my life! I love the seafood baked rice and the ox-tail stew, and the cream corn soup is to die for! This is also where I brought my then fiance to meet my dad for the first time and the first time I met her friends! I also brought my white friend here to discuss business and this place is the best for all occasions!

Low price, Great quantity, great taste

This restaurant's food is top notch! I love their unique, intense flavors and creativity, there is great care and thoughtfulness into each dish. I believe you can't find a fusion restaurant like this anywhere in SoCal. In terms of service, it is ok. When the restaurant gets busy, responsiveness from staff drops a little. I didn't mind having to wait a few minutes to get my water refilled, however. Proper and polite communication is key. There is no doubt that waiters/waitresses will get to you when they can. The scenery is cozy and hip. If you want to be satisfied for a good price, this is the place to be. I say again that the food is superb and absolute worth it. I would come back here when I can. I kinda wish they had another location in San Diego.
