Authentic Korean food, but from what I've tasted most everything is about average. My friends and I have been here twice and both times it has been about the same. The side dishes are great, and we have ordered the sujebi, noodle soup with kimchi, grilled mackerel, stone bibimbap, and also the bulgogi hot pot dish. All the dishes were fine but the bulgogi hot pot dish was far too sweet.
Great food and great atmosphere. The menu was great and easy to share family style. Good for groups from any size 2-12 people easily. Service is quick and friendly!
The banchan (Korean side dishes) were so-so, but the grilled fish that I ordered was fresh and tasty. Good selections of stews and grilled fish. The decor is interesting appealing to those with nostalgia or curiosity of Korean schools in time past.
Interesting decor filled with various types of antiques. Quite a bit of selection of food. We ordered the spicy braised pork short ribs. At $30, it had a good amount of ribs. The dish, served, in a sizzling stone pot, also contained some potatoes and rice cakes. It had good flavor. However, some of the pieces of pork were a bit try because the pork was on the leaner side. There was a good selection of side dishes that came with the meal.
