Tiny place delicious food! I tried the Steak Crispy Roll and it just melted in my mouth so delicious!. The drinks are also delicious I had watermelon green tea it's like a agua fresca, beautifully executed.
This take on the tradition beef rolls is decent. I like the bing/roti/flatbread is actually flakey and crispy! Too bad the steam and wrap kills that texture quickly. Inside the shop is small and has about a dozen seats for dining. So eat there ASAP if possible. As for the fillings, sauces and meat marinade are rather strong so you won't really tasty the flatbread. I'm not the biggest fan of the chicken flavor with pickled jalapeno because the flavors compete. I think for the price and lackluster fillings they offer, I would opt for other options in the area.
The store is quite small but there’re still some seats for dine in. The crispy rolls are okay. We got the chicken one the the meat was marinated flavorful and so yummy.
A good place to grab a quick to-go lunch while driving on the road. It's between $6 to $12 for a roll depending on what meat and add-on option you select. Portion size is good enough for a light lunch. For guys, you may need 1.5 to 2 rolls to be full.
Service is average and not exactly detailed oriented. Cashier made sure to confirm with the kitchen for one chicken roll to be regular which includes the jalapeño and another to be without the jalapeño. Cashier even marked the paper wrapper with writing to differentiate the order. However, both were made identical and contains jalapeño. Oh and I hope you speak Chinese. They may not be too fluent in English. But service was pretty fast. My order of 3 rolls and 1 drink was ready under 10 minutes.
The pancake wrap is well made, soft and crispy. The word "Crispy" on the menu refers to the pancake wrap itself and not to the content wrapped within it. Imagine this pancake wrap as the tortilla wrap on a burrito but instead it is crispy and loosely layered. Anyhow, it’s good.
#1 Chicken Crispy Roll $5.50 + $1 egg add-on. Chicken is soft and tender. There's also raw bell peppers and jalapeño within the wrap. Flavor is good, I would definitely get this again. Kids and husband all say taste good.
#5 Kimchi Pork Crispy Roll $6.50. Basically just tastes like Korean pork belly wrapped with kimchi and bean sprouts. Nothing too special but it's decent, slightly above average. I would try something else next time though.
Sparkling Water with Passion Fruit $4.99. Love it. Lightly sweet with fresh splash of passion fruit. I would get this again.
Cashier tells me that this is a franchise fast food chain from Asia, with the famous singer Jay Chou being a shareholder or part-owner, thus explains why his photo is placed everywhere for marketing purposes.
Great alternative to sandwiches! Savory and delicious! My new favorite lunch spot.
