“Banana Bay has always treated me well! It takes a little time to get in, especially on busy nights, but it is definitely worth it! Love the Crying Tiger meal. The steak comes out perfectly tender with just the right amount of special sauces. Rice is always very nice. Food is priced well and is served relatively fast. Water served here is a bit unappetizing, but the specialty drinks are cheap. Large open space inside with Thai look. They serve large parties really well. I have seen a lot of birthday parties and other celebrations on my visits here.”

“I was hungry for soup on a cold night and it was late. So Jackie whom is well versed in this type of food led the way to the Yes plaza in Rowland Heights for a selection of restaurants open late. After some decision making we settled on TNN Korean Tang for some hot soup. Although there were many other selections we shared the soup pictured. It came with the unlimited small side dishes. This was a late evening quick bite for us and it hit the spot. The service was friendly and plenty of attention. The restaurant was clean and good 'mild' atmosphere as far as (busy and noisy). Mostly the food was satisfying. Personally I left wanting to return to try some other things here. Afterward since Jackie and I ate light I was still a little hungry and in the mood for desert, she suggested we just go for a little walk in the plaza and we came across a nice little desert shop where we had a sweet sesame seed, pudding like dessert along with a small bite of cake and a mango dish. All where yummy took some home. Although there were some more places to venture in the plaza we made it a night after the dessert.”

“4.5 Star. Overall. I don’t ever think of this place for a meal, since I’m not much of a burger person. But I should as an In-n-Out alternative, since they’ve got cool healthy sides to choose from like fried string beans and sweet potato fries. Or a variety of salad. And the wait was pretty short too for Lunch. Nice friendly cashier. Interesting drinks options. My second time here. I’ll have to add it to my Local Eats favorites. The cashier asks me if I want to donate $2 to feed the children program or something, I always decline whatever donation stuff. But she double checked with me and explained that they give a free cheeseburger at over $4 value for the donation of $2, which basically made my burger half price. Hum. On second thought, and reading the signs clearly, that’s not bad especially if I plan on returning for a meal on another day. 5 Star experience. 4.5 Star food. Sorry I’m not a burger fan so it’s hard to rate a full score. But great impression and enjoyed my meal. Will return.”

The menu is limited, but everything on it is outstanding: Rice, kabab meat, and the world-famous white sauce, which they also sell separately to make home dishes delicious. Pro tip: Their hot sauce is really exceptional as well! A little more smoky flavor than most Asian hot sauces, really exploding with flavor. The food at this store is generally a lot better than the ones in Cerritos or Costa Mesa, very close to the original NY street cart experience. Highest recommendation.”
