Delicious Food Corner

You gotta love Hong Kong breakfast because you get the most value for your money. Nothing can truly beat authentic Hong Kong breakfast in Hong Kong but this place is close enough. When you come here, expect a bit of a wait because it gets crowded early in the morning.

From what I hear and tasted, the porridge is exceptionally good. I tried their chicken and abalone porridge and it was quite delicious. At first I thought it was the fake abalone but from what I can tell, it looks like canned abalone. Regardless, it still tasted like abalone and not the ones that have no taste. It also came with a side order of stuff shrimp rice rolls that looked good but was mediocre. It came out cold so I'm not sure if it sat their as an extra and was given to us.

Our table also ordered a side of the Chinese donut, which also came out cold. It tastes way better when it's freshly fried and crunchy and dip it in the porridge. Another order was a breakfast set A, which came with spam macaroni and toasted egg sandwich. All in all, The food is good and so was their Hong Kong milk tea.

Old branch of restaurant in San Gabriel valley area. Pretty much the same menu and mode of operation. A little more parking than Monterey Park branch but can get difficult. Same practice of "packing" people into tables. Cash only also.

Great food, good prices. Place does get quite crowded though. I love the minced pork with rice topped with an egg dish here.

I honestly don't know why there would be so many 1-Star reviews on this great restaurant. Upon reading the low reviews, I came to a thought that this restaurant would probably have bland food and bad service. Then, 1 week later, here I am, at Delicious Food Corner at Las Tunas. And I gotta say - this food is amazing! The quality is superb, seafood is fresh and flavourful, and the restrooms look like they were from a fancy restaurant or hotel. Service was good, with friendly workers who took all of our orders without messing up. The atmosphere is ok, with the same "Hong Kong Style" crowded and chatty area. But nonetheless, the food of this restaurant is amazing, and if you came here too, you would also be scratching your heads too, wondering why some people would think of this a tasty restaurant as terrible. So in conclusion, I would definitely be looking forward to be eating here again!

Good Location, nice Service, reasonal price. we order chicken. There is still having small chicken bones inside. Need to pay more attention to the that out to avoid to swallow it
