tried the chimichurri slider, the al pastor rellenita, and an al pastor taco.
chimichurri slider was amazing--a mess to eat but great flavors.
the rellenita would have been better if it werent in a to go box (alas food truck tho) and the cheese were still crispy bc it was fascinating to eat-was surprised to see large pork chunks instead of shredded pork/smaller carnitas sized which i think would have been better/easier to eat bc it might stick to the cheese on the inside instead of having huge chunks fall out. taco was just ok
ironically, idk if i'd get a taco here just bc the other items were wya more interesting, but i'd def go back. good food, prices were fair, and the guy working was super friendly
Quick and fast taco stands. Now they support the credit card payment. Eric is welcoming and serves the neighborhood very well until the midnight. The protein of stewed pork and the al pastor is nice while I hope they could use corn tortillas instead of the flour ones.
This is an amazing little food cart!
Reminds me of the amazing speciality food trucks in Portland.
Food: Really good! Favorite was the al pastor. Horchata was also super legit!
Parking: if after 6pm, park on abbot by the bank.
Atmosphere: there are a few places to sit on the concrete planters by the bank.
Prices: Super Reasonable! Bottled water was $2.75 though.
Overall: good yummy spot!
We got two chicken tacos mulita style and pineapple sauce al pastor rellenita. FIRE! I believe the tacos might have been the best food dish I ever ate in my entire life. Sadly I don’t live in LA so I’m going to crave and miss taco point!
✨ Wow! So good. I pass this distinctive glowing food truck once a week & had to finally stop & see what they make... futuristic space food? I was surprised to find the menu mentioning Chimichurri, Pineapple, Rellenitas, Sliders, Homemade Tortillas... intriguing ingredients along with familiar taco ones.
✨ The Chimichurri Asada (Beef) Slider was a delicious treat! Each bite with soft buttery bun, oozing super flavorful sauces, tender beef chunks, melted cheese & onions. I'm not a big beef lover but this meat is quality. I'll be back to try all the things! Glad to have a creative & tasty food truck in this neck of the SGV!
Note: Their IG says they're moving to a new street location on Dec. 1 -- on Valley Blvd, FYI! I lucked out trying just before they moved!
