    This place has had consistently good service. The host is friendly and it is always nice to feel welcome. The location is odd with scarce parking during busy hours but food is good. I think my only complaint for this past visit, was that the basket of shoestring fries is a tad over priced for the amount. $5 for about one serving.. not enough to share an order and other than that, all was good. I wouldn't recommend the carne en salsa verde, but would recommend the shrimp quesadilla. Would visit again.

    The food is good, and at a good price. If you're looking for a taco Tuesday place, though, I'd recommend you look elsewhere. The tacos were not just not good, but completely forgettable.

    This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Santa Clarita. The staff makes you feel like family and the food is authentic. You cant go wrong with the shrimp a la esmeralda (or the green costillas)! Whenever my family comes to visit from out of town, this is the place I take them to.

    We love La Esmeralda's the food is extremely good. Always have sports on. They only serve beer, but the food is wonderful. I had pazole tonight! It was great.
