This is the steakhouse that chain steakhouses emulate. Tons of historical items around inside. Our waitress Janet did an amazing job with her right hand girl doing insanely awesome too. Food was amazing and prices were in between the best in Phoenix, Durrants and the chain places. Overall worth returning.

Old School Steakhouse. We have been going there for years. Best Steaks, Prime Rib, Seafood and more! The stuffed bake potato, is a Must have. Family owned on a pleasant drive to Canyon Country.

Outstanding place. The staff is great, and the food is very good. They also make an outstanding mixed drink.

Wow, why didn’t someone tell us about this place?? Food was yummy, the selection is vast, and pricing is lower than it should be!!!
Waitresses are family friendly, and this is one of those one off, deliciously decorated, have to come back again soon places!!!

Lunch was superb in a beautiful, well-appointed setting! Each table had a white tablecloth, with very fresh flowers - and a lighted candle - with just the right amount of sawdust on the floor to make it feel very comfortable.

The 4 long etched glass dividers between our line of booths and the charming bar even had "BI" (Backwoods Inn) artfully carved into the center of each. The glass-front cabinets on one wall had old West treasures, and there was a small room near the front door for coats, as there should be.

The coconut shrimp with orange marmalade - an appetizer - was the best I have ever tried. My friends finished their beef choices and we loved the popular Christmas music selections that were playing. Around the room, near the ceiling, was green garland with many tiny white lights - except for the bar, which had a festive line of red lights.

We left feeling nourished, festive, and satisfied we had just had a lovely Christmas luncheon - and would be back soon to enjoy more.
