They only had one waiter for 9 tables. The poor guy did his best. Didn't even have a busser. Food was good though.
We celebrated my little sister's birthday here around 5pm on a beautiful Saturday. The feel you get when you walk in is homey because of the dim lighting and their simple Japanese decor; plus the amazing view of the outside you get throughout the restaurant. The service was good except once more customers came in they became a bit forgetful. When it came to the sushi it was the star of the night, I order their tempura vegetarian sushi rolls and it was great. They did go the extra mile with the free birthday ice cream they gave us and the rave like birthday song/show lol.
Went for all you can eat. The rolls were clearly more rice than normal by almost a joking amount. Friend of ours ordered a salad and he got it an HOUR after he ordered it. Food tasted okay but not one of the better sushi places I've been. All in all just meh. They do a fun lights and music thing for birthdays which happened while we were there. If you are epileptic you will have to close your eyes or not go.
I have always been so Thankful for the great, friendly, and accommodating service here. The sushi is also the best I've had within 30 miles. WONDERFUL JOB!!!
Service sucks here, don't come if you are in a rush or on a schedule. It can get super busy especially Friday and weekend nights. Even had a lady eyeballing us the whole time we were eating from across the restaurant because she thought we were sharing food from all you can eat orders. I've experienced on multiple occasions standing at the front waiting for someone to seat us, and four people looking at us and continuing as if they didn't see us. I understand it's not your job if you aren't a hostess but you would think they would greet us or try to get the hostess for us... Something... Anything? Felt unwelcome. Also, be careful how much you order! They will charge you a fee if you leave any leftovers on your plate. This has led to over stuffing ourselves because we didn't want to pay extra for food we already paid for. I'll give it 3 stars because the sushi here is the best I've ever had. Always tastes fresh. Did have one experience where the proportions in the rolls we're off, but might have just been a newbie.
