I love this restaurant. I grew up going here the fond memories of all the delicious food and the amazing staff hats off to the chefs and servers. Ive never had a bad experience at any spires restaurant. Food is always fresh.
Great food and service. I like spires cause its a quiet family environment, never ever seen riff raff, ive been going to these restaurants since the late 70s and 80s. Try the beef eater!
Best "go to" place. Pleasant folks pleasant service. Good food.
This crowd is more of an older senior citizen crowd. I thoroughly enjoy coming here because very rarely is it as long of a wait, as if you were to go to Denny's or to norms. The food quality is about the same. Some items have that delicious home cooked vibe other items are like oh my God never let me order this from here again it is cooked like somebody who has to watch their blood sugar and cholesterol. The service could use an improvement. They are normally not very friendly. I still prefer to come here though over Denny's. And when I don't feel like waiting like a normally would at norms.
The specials are pretty - well - special. Especially if you like steak (Sundays). Soup, salad, steak, and a side veggie or potato, plus dessert. My usual is bleu cheese dressing on the salad, chicken gumbo soup, medium rare steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, rice pudding for dessert (comes topped with whipped cream & cinnamon powder). I'll spare you the obligatory pics of the food. Maybe later.
