NORMS Restaurant

It's an American Diner, with traditional American dishes. The food was good. They give you too much food, expect to bring some home or not. The store was clean but the decor needs updated. The service was substandard.

I never eat at Norms ( or a restaurant like that to be fair) but I was happily surprised at the amazing service I got Sunday night. Fast and friendly service and great deals for good. The soup/salad/half sandwich and drink for $8 I believe, had the pastrami and it was delicious. We also ordered the breakfast steak special, it was a generous portion for $10.99 with bacon, sausage, eggs, a side and pancakes. Never thought Norms was good, well it was and I recommend it.

Very busy on weekends, long wait on tables, better to go during the week to enjoy good service & more relaxed environment. Overall great food. Our server Ricardo was super efficient & helpful though.

The original LA greasy spoon. Great breakfast and conversation with friends, enemies, frenemies, etc. at 3 a.m., or any other time of day. The menu is fairly large and the food is reliably better than Denny's.... that's good enough for a 24 hour diner. I miss this place.

The service here was #amazing. The #food was much better than the norms in the city of Downey. It definitely was not as crowded as other norms and had plenty of parking space. I liked how attentive the waiter was. There is not a single doubt that I would come here again even though it's more of a commute than my norms close to me.
