Overall, I enjoyed this place. They had good prices, and MOST of the food tasted fresh. I ordered a plate that had cod, shrimp, scallops, calamari, and a crab cake. It also came with hushpuppies, fries, and coleslaw. For all of that food, I only spent about $15.
The shrimp and calamari were my favorite. The crab cake tasted fine, but it had way too many bell peppers (that's all I could taste). The scallops tasted disgustingly fishy.
As far as the sides, the coleslaw and hushpuppies were yummy. The French fries were cold and limp. They were probably old.
They have a large menu, so I would like to come back and try more items. Their dessert also looked good.
When you walk in, there's a large menu on the back wall. You walk up to the counter whenever you're ready to order. Then they bring you your food to your table. They also check on you periodically throughout your meal.
Good place. I reccomend the fried fish taco. They give you a free serving of ceviche to sample while you wait for your food. The burritos are definitely worth trying as well. Check out the shrimp burrito. They also serve beer of you want a drink with your plate.
Love this little gem! Fish has always been cooked perfectly, sauces and sides are delicious. The stewed chickpeas are seriously addictive. It can get busy after 6 on weekends, so plan accordingly.
Food is definitely delicious. Great variety of sauces at their salsa counter. Place your order and then they bring it to your table. Small place so if you're ordering to go difficult to find a place to stand when they are busy. Order by phone is the best bet. Only negative would be that they don't clean their ketchup bottles and hot sauce bottles. Very friendly and polite staff. The chips and ceviche that they give is a nice touch.
If you have a craving for great seafood, this is your place. I went for my first time Monday and was pleasantly surprised to find an outstanding choice of seafood and sides that were healthy and very tasty. I got the swordfish with the cilantro butter and the brown rice side it was excellent. My only reason for four stars is because I found the tables and seats slightly uncomfortable but really that's it. I would definitely go back again and again
