Gen Korean BBQ House

I have been going here many times with my family. Their set price and numerous selection on their menu and side dishes are pretty good. I'm just happy I don't need to go to K Town to find a good Korean BBQ restaurant close by. The restaurant in West Covina is clean and provide great service.

The food was good, but it took way too long to be seated. (About 25 minutes) Only half the tables were in use, while the remaining half still needed to be cleared. This delay was upsetting because I saw no fewer than a dozen employees in the restaurant. I'm sure each one of them knows how to clear away dirty dishes, to help the grill cleaning guy work faster.

It seems the service level is really hit or miss at this location. After about 20 or so more visits on various days and times, I can conclude that the service level is actually quite good on average.

As far as food quality, I have yet to find any place with better food or selection. In addition, they don't gouge you on the sodas. The sodas are free refill, unlike other places that will charge you $2 or more for a single can.

Very modern looking inside. The service was great and the food is really good. I liked the music they were playing overhead.

Love the selection you can get here. We were someone who knows exactly what to order, so everything was perfect. Not rushed. Service excellent.

First time here, I had to wait 45 minutes but it was worth it. I really like the place really clean and even though it was busy and they forgot my drink. It was a nice place. The food was fresh and they always clean your grill thing. I recommend this place make a reservation. To be served faster. I think it’s $22 per person very cheap and it offers a lot.
