    I ordered the 2 for $5 dollars fish sandwiches. It was good but could have been better. Being that its fish, they should make it fresh to the order or at least give the customer the option to wait for it to be made fresh

    We love THIS NORM'S!!! We've been driving from Eagle Rock/So. Pasadena to this location for over 2 decades! Now, our grown kids bring their friends here for the great eats @ great prices! Always greeted kindly, not too long of a wait & our favorites on the menu MADE TO ORDER!! We love their awesome servers, too! Keep up the great work, guys! You are ALL THE BEST!! It's busy for a reason! We can't thank you enough!

    For being as busy as it was we were sat quickly. The food arrived promptly and was decent. Waitress was busy but on point. Parking lot was filled. As we waited to be sat saw the toy grabbing machine got gentrified into a just pay 10 dollars and get the toy you want machine. Lol.

    Really good diner food for breakfast fare and a Los Angeles classic. Norms is a very busy place and you're either there at a great time or there at a very busy time - I've never seen an in-between. There's not a lot of room for servers to travel when it gets very busy and that makes service something to be improved upon, but other then that - it's a must try!

    Great place to join friends to catch up, enjoy some good food, great drinks and really interesting historical ambience. Which is exactly what I did. I joined friends at the bar counter last Sunday during Idle Hour's brunch.

    There was live music on the patio and great service at the bar. The bar tender was friendly and made a few great suggestions.

    If you're looking for somewhere to meet your friends Idle Hour is a great stop.
